Autumn is a great time to browse through Pierceton’s many antique shops. All shops are conveniently located on First Street so you can easily park the car and walk to each shop. Start with the two-storey Pierceton Antique Mall—whatever it is you collect, you’ll most likely find it there. The Blue Pearl houses some beautiful artwork and fine antiques. And Sydow’s Antiques houses some extremely elegant furniture and glass.
Autumn in motion
The Village of Winona welcomes you to an annual Fall Festival that features artisan demonstrations and shopping throughout the lakeside village, as well as a 24-hour bike race on the more than 10 miles of tremendously-popular mountain bike trails along the banks of Winona Lake.
Enjoy the beautiful colors of the changing leaves with a visit to one of Kosciusko County’s many nature preserves.Glennwood Nature Preserve is beautiful in the fall and a short hike will take you to the quaking bog. The 240 acres of theWildwood Nature Preserve offer opportunities to see turtles, frogs and birds. Other equally impressive preserves include Tri Country, Pisgah Marsh Area and Boardwalk in Pierceton and Bock Nature in Silver Lake.

An abundance of farmers’ markets invites you to sample their local harvest. From the Kosciusko County Farmer’s Market toSyracuse Artisan and Farmers Market and other individual farm markets, you have plenty of opportunities to savor the tastes of the season. You could even head to an orchard to pick your own apples.
The Antique Town, Pierceton is a small town not to be missed. Located just eight miles east of Warsaw, Pierceton is an emerging community with many charming shops and a growing industry.
The antiques and collectibles shops, along with a growing art community, will keep any antique or art lover busy for hours. This quaint town has been a haven for antique enthusiasts for over 65 years, attracting visitors from all over the country. Several other specialty shops are located in town, including art galleries and a creator of 18th and 19th century history reproduction pieces. Pierceton is also home to Paragon Medical, a supplier to the orthopedic industry.
