Atwood

Atwood Otterbein Church Easter Egg Hunt – March 23rd – 1:00-2:00 PM

The annual Easter Egg Hunt for toddlers through 6th grade will take place on Saturday afternoon, March 23rd beginning at 1:00 PM. All are welcome and light refreshments will be served.

Palm Sunday service will begin at 9:30 AM on Sunday March 24th in the Sanctuary. Worshipers are encouraged to come early for coffee and stay late for snacks and fellowship. Adult Bible Study with Patsianne Harrold will take place in the sanctuary following the service. The group is currently studying 1 John.

Easter Sunday, March 31st, will begin with sunrise service at 7:00 AM followed by breakfast in Fellowship Hall. Pastor’s Easter celebration will begin at 9:30 AM.

Milford Easter Egg Hunt – March 30th – 10:30 AM – Milford School parking lot and playground

The Milford Kiwanis Club has an Easter egg hunt at 10:30 AM on Saturday, March 30th, at the Milford school parking lot and playground. The hunt is open to those in grade 3 or younger. The Easter Bunny will arrive on a firetruck at 10:15 AM. Pictures may be taken with the Easter Bunny before and after the hunt.

North Webster

North Webster Church of God Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt – March 23rd – 10:00-11:30 AM

North Webster Chruch of God will be hosting its annual community Easter egg hunt on the beautiful grounds of Cramp Crosley, 165 EMS T2 Lane, North Webster, from 10-11:30 AM on Saturday, March 23rd.

The event is free and there will be over 20,000 Easter Eggs for children under age 12 to find. Other activities include meeting the Easter Bunny, a petting zoo, a prize tent, doughnut holes, and hot chocolate.

Silver Lake Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt – March 23rd – 11:00 AM – Silver Lake Grade School

Silver Lake Lions Club’s 40th annual Easter Egg Hunt will be at 11:00 AM on March 23rd at the Silver Lake School Grounds. There are five age groups to participate in: birth to 1, 2 to 3, 4 to 6, 7 to 9, and 10 through sixth grade. Prizes will be awarded in each age group. Bring your containers. Warsaw

Warsaw Meadows Care Center – March 23rd – 9:00 AM-11:00 AM

Warsaw Meadows Care Center, 300 E. Prairie St., has an Easter egg hunt at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 23rd. Pictures with the Easter Bunny will be 9:00 AM-11:00 AM. Kids will hunt in two age groups: ages 1-5 and ages 6-10. There will be a golden egg prize for both age groups.

Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church – March 23rd – 11:15 AM

Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 210 S. High St., Warsaw, is hosting a hunt on March 23 at 11:15 a.m. for toddlers to 12 years old.
This 3,000-plus egg hunt will take place in the church gym and playground with free “kid-friendly” lunch afterward (cheese stick/peanut butter crackers, fruit, chips and drink). Kids are also welcome to stick around for a puppet show or open gym (until 1 p.m.).

First United Methodist Church Egg Hunt – March 24th – 9:00 AM

First United Methodist Church, 179 S. Indiana St., Warsaw, will have a children’s Easter egg hunt on March 24th. After the 9:00 AM service downtown, they will have an Easter egg hunt for all of the kids.

Egg My House FUNraiser – March 29th-30th – Winona Lake Parks Department

The “Egg My House” FUNdraiser for Winona Lake Limitless Park is returning for Easter 2024. Through it, homes in Warsaw or Winona Lake will be “egged” with candy and toy-filled plastic eggs. The goodies will be put out the evening of people’s choice, either Friday, March 29, or Saturday, March 30. People may have the items placed in a basket at front doors or hidden in yards for an additional fee. The cost is $30 for 25 eggs, $50 for 50 eggs and $75 for 100 eggs. Washi Paper Egg Art Class – March 30th – 10:00 AM-12:00 PM – The Beaded Peacock

The Beaded Peacock in Winona Lake, IN is excited to welcome back egg artists Cindy Bates  & Rachel Miner for a delightful egg decorating class using fine washi papers. 

The artistic expression of washi eggs is a Japanese tradition of appreciation of simplicity of shape, refinement of printed design, and quality of technique.

In this class, you will receive 2 pre-marked, cleaned, and emptied chicken eggs and decorative paper of your choice to complete this project.  You may not finish both eggs in class but will be able to complete them at home.
