Expedition: Family Fishing Day – April 13th – 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM – Pike Lake Beach Pier, Warsaw

Calling all new and pro anglers! On Saturday, April 13th, join David Hamerick, from 10 -11:30 am at Pike Lake Beach Pier to learn all about fishing! Hamrick is a seasoned volunteer at the Lilly Center for Lakes and Streams as well as an avid fisherman and boat captain. The first 30 Indiana residents to register for this event will receive a free fishing license! (License valid till March 31st, 2025) There will be a limited number of fishing poles; feel free to bring your own! Bait will be supplied by the Lilly Center. Other fish-related games will be provided plus snacks!

Spring Cookies Decorating Class – April 13th – 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM – Tippy Creek Winery, Leesburg

Spring is in the air, and what better way to celebrate than with our Hello Spring Cookie Decorating Class! Join us for a delightful afternoon of decorating delicious cookies inspired by the blooming beauty of the season.

In this fun-filled class, you’ll learn:
👩‍🍳 Tips and techniques for cookie decorating 🎨 Creative designs inspired by the beauty of spring. How to make your cookies extra festive with icing and decorations.
No prior experience is necessary – beginners and seasoned decorators alike are welcome! All materials will be provided, including one dozen freshly baked cookies, icing, and decorations. Just bring your enthusiasm and get ready to create some edible works of art!

• Cookie Canvas: Each guest will receive one dozen of freshly baked, blank canvas cookies ready for your artistic touch.
• Decorating Stations: Explore various decorating stations with a wide array of colored icings, sprinkles, edible glitter, and more. Unleash your creativity as you bring your cookie visions to life.
• Guidance From An Expert: Our experienced cookie decorating instructor, @Danielle Neese, will provide tips and tricks to help you create beautiful and Instagram-worthy cookies.
