Henry Ward Park is named for one of the co-founders of Syracuse, Henry Ward, who was the first Postmaster in Syracuse and an Associate Judge in Kosciusko County. This park, shaded by canopy trees, lies along a channel leading to Syracuse Lake. It is a popular fishing spot and hosts many Bass Fishing Tournaments. It is conveniently located adjacent to the public access site for Syracuse Lake. Park amenities include a boardwalk, fishing pier, playground and an open-air pavilion available to rent.
