Pound Store Museum

Pound Store Museum, Leesburg, Indiana

Opened for the first time in 1838 as an Indian trading post, the Pound Store Museum is the county’s oldest commercial building. Named for long-time owner John Pound, the store was recently renovated by the Kosciusko County Historical Society. The Pound Store Museum is located across the road from Rookstool’s Pier Shop.

Old Jail Museum

Lawrence D. Bell Aircraft Museum Inc.

Lawrence D. Bell Museum, Mentone, IN

Located in Mentone, this museum is dedicated to Mentone native Lawrence Bell. Bell founded Bell Aircraft inventing the first supersonic jet piloted by Chuck Yeager, the first jet propelled airplane, the world’s first commercial helicopter, the world’s fastest and highest flying airplane, the Bell X-1A and the first vertical take-off and landing jet.

Etna Green Museum
