I have worked for the Parks Department since 2007, where I was the Mantis Skate Park Supervisor. I spent every summer at the Skate Park until 2018, where I joined the department full time as the administrative assistant for the recreation department. Then in 2021, I was promoted to the Recreation Director of the Parks Department.
Although I was sad to leave the skate park, it gave me an opportunity to plan more events for both the skate park and for the recreation department. I was able to meet and engage with new families, jump start new programs, and help develop relationships within the community. I am excited about the future of the recreation department and where it can go. I hope to deepen relationships within the community, interact with more families and bring new opportunities to our community.
I have four adult children, all who reside in Indiana, and have been married for 31 years. We enjoy the outdoors from kayaking, fishing, and walking trails. We love to travel, go sightseeing, and hiking.
We have lived Kosciusko County for 50 years and are proud to call it home!
