The Luncheonette at Zale Drugs offers daily lunch specials and thirst quenchers like old-fashioned soda and phosphates.

There’s no limit at Winona Lake’s Limitless Park, aptly named for its universally accessible playground. You also can relax at the beach, shoot hoops on the basketball court, serve up a tennis match, or cool off at the K21 Splashpad.

Rocket Fizz is a mid-afternoon magnet with an extensive array of bottled sodas, some with unique flavors like bacon and sweet corn or others named for such celebrities as Marilyn Monroe. Speaking of flavors, a taste of authentic Mexican cuisine sets Taqueria El Comal apart as a dinner destination.
