Warsaw Cut Glass

You’re sure to find a treasure here – goblets, pitchers, platters and bowls, all in gleaming hand-cut crystal. Warsaw Cut Glass’s history begins back in 1911 when the Warsaw Cut Glass Company opened in this community. It’s one of the last U.S. companies cutting glass in its original building with vintage machinery. Lake City Skiers

Lake City Skiers on Hidden Lake, Warsaw, IN

The Lake City Skiers is Indiana’s only competitive show water ski team. Established in 1989, they won Division II Nationals back-to-back in 2006 & 2007 and again in 2014 & 2016.  With approximately 80 members ranging from 4 to 65 years of age, they perform shows throughout the summer on Hidden Lake.

Winona History Center

The Winona History Center tells the story of beautiful Winona Lake from 1895 – 1968. The museum is located within historic Westminster Hall on the campus of Grace College. Visitors will learn about the development of Spring Fountain Park, Winona’s significance as a Chautauqua site, the energetic evangelist Billy Sunday, and gospel music pioneer, Homer Rodeheaver. Mentone

Mentone Egg

Mentone Egg Festival

The Mentone Egg boasts being one of the largest man-made eggs in America. It is made of concrete, weighs 3,000 pounds, and is about 10 feet high. It was originally constructed in 1946 to advertise the local egg festival. It’s inscribed with “The Egg Basket of the Midwest” and a basket of eggs inside an outline-shape of Indiana. It’s a great spot for an Instagram photoshoot!

Syracuse

Dixie Sternwheeler

Dixie Sternwheeler, North Webster, IN

The Dixie Sternwheeler is Indiana’s oldest sternwheel tour boat, cruising beautiful Webster Lake since 1929. Refurbished and now on the National Registry of Historic Places, the Dixie offers 90-minute cruises with narration and music available Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend each evening, and during the day on Sundays. Popcorn, candy, and soft drinks are available on board. Take a ride on this fun and historic attraction.

Whetstone Woodenware is well known for their handmade wooden spoons, ladles, dippers, bowls, breadboards, trenchers, mixing paddles, and many other types of woodenwares. The idea for the business first started when the owner’s wife asked him to make her a wooden spoon that wouldn’t break. This sparked a passion for carpentry which led to the opening of The Carpenter Shop, which later become Whetstone Woodenware.

The historic Etna Green Elevator was built in 1907 and is still in use today. This rustic location still makes custom feed for all kinds of animals as well as their own floor of stocked feed. Remembrance Park

This park is situated in the heart of downtown Etna Green next to the Etna Green Elevator. The best time to visit Remembrance Park is after Memorial Day when the fountain is flowing. Here you will find serenity amidst the beautiful landscaping while also enjoying a hand-painted mural by local artist Robert A. Hudson.

This local farm specializes in making soap, lotion, body butter, and other beauty products from camel’s milk. Each bar of soap contains approximately 25% camels’ milk, which has been shown to provide skin with the nutrients, antioxidants, and vitamins it needs. They also sell camel themed clothing, home items, and accessories. You can find these items on sale on their website www.riverjordancameldairy.com. They give tours by appointment only.
