The Lakes
Have you seen the light snow fall over the lakes with the ducks and birds resting on the ice? With over 100 lakes in the county, lakes are great spots for photos. Pick from some favorites like Winona Lake, Lake Tippecanoe, and Lake Wawasee.
Nature Sites
Take a hike through the woods with the coating of snow on the ground. The silence of the woods is a calming get away from the noise of town. Try hiking at Wildwood Nature Preserve, Oppenheim Woods, and Pisgah Marsh Area & Boardwalk.
Trails
Walk the trails through the woods and around the lakes. The paved trails and boardwalks provide great views and crisp air. Try the Syracuse-Wawasee Trails, Winona Lake Trails, and Old Chinworth Bridge Trail.
The Village at Winona
The Village at Winona is a collection of over 20 renovated homes that are restaurants and retail and service shops. The Village is located along Winona Lake and the Winona Lake canal. Spend the day shopping and dining while walking along the snowy sidewalks.
